I had a few carrots and a zucchini that needed to be cooked. I also bought a pack of cute clamshell-shaped colored macaroni. It was obviously time to make a meal out of them.

I’ve wanted to try making bread on a pan for the longest time. One evening I notice we ran out of bread, so it was a perfect excuse for not wanting to heat up the over anymore and just do it on the stove (turns out, heating the oven would’ve been faster…)

I love creamy vegetable soups. There’s sooo much variety in a single dish. Just change the veggies around a bit and vΓ³ila, you have a different meal. This time I’m just making a soup out of whatever there was left.

I wanted to try my hand at making veggie burgers. I’ve never done them before and from this I learned I need to practice a bit more. But it wasn’t a total failure, so there π

I use my slow cooker entirely too little compared to the space it takes and how much I wanted it in the first place. I usually only use it to make “creamy soups” (I’m starting to hate that word. We truly need a translation for “sosekeitto”) and broth/stock. It was then that I noticed I had too much chicken that needed to be cooked sooner rather than later. On to chopping veggies…

While I kind of like Sushi, I can’t really be called a sushi-lover since I don’t like almost any traditional sushi fillings. However I was thinking about making sushi with my choosing of ingredients. It had to be tested beforehand though, so I though I’d make a decent meal out of the test.

I mentioned earlier that I like using one ingredient, but many variants? Did I also mention that I adore onions. I’ve always loved them. Fried, boiled, baked, raw. Doesn’t matter, I’ll eat it if it’s onion. So naturally I had to make a separate dish out of them.

This is a two, or three-part recipe, but trust me, it’s easy and was definitely worth it!
