While I kind of like Sushi, I can’t really be called a sushi-lover since I don’t like almost any traditional sushi fillings. However I was thinking about making sushi with my choosing of ingredients. It had to be tested beforehand though, so I though I’d make a decent meal out of the test.

Potato, Potato, Potato Soup

I enjoy using one type of ingredient in multiple varieties in one dish. I’ve used onions for this for a really long time. When I was shopping one time looking at different potatoes I remembered that what we here call ‘Bataatti’ is in fact called a ‘sweet potato’ in English. So I decided to make a soup where the main ingredients would be different potatoes.

Salty Ham-filled.. cinnamon rolls?

Okay that title might be going a bit too far, but that essentially is what these are, or at least look alike. So. There are like bazillion sweet snacks out there, candies, chocolate, cookies, etc, etc. But the amount of salty snacks are really limited. I was trying to figure out what to do when I want something salty to snack on.

Chicken Soup with Summer Veggies

So one day I was planning our meals and I found out that not only did I have one packet of pre-marinated chicken strips that should be made that day, I had three. Cue frantic “oh crap what do I do with this much chicken I can’t just fry them all I should make something easier with it heck why didn’t I notice earlier..” Well, you get the point. The Meatloaf Experiment

So. I’ve done meatloaf like a thousand times in my life. I think it was my father who taught me this “recipe”. I’ll say this with stretching it a bit since three ready-to-made ingredients and stick into an oven is not that much of a recipe 🙂 But with the basic recipe so simple, I’ve experimented with it a dozen time over. I’ll give you a couple of the better modifications.
